Certified Flight Instructor Rating

  • Minimum 18 years old to take practical flight test

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Helicopter Certificate

  • Must read, write, understand and speak English

  • Hold a current FAA Medical Certificate

  • Pass the FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Knowledge and Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) Tests

  • Pass the FAA Certified Flight Instructor Practical Examination
